Partnership with LFZ

Through our shared French origins, we have established a strong, long-standing partnership with the Lycée Français de Zurich.

It was therefore an obvious choice for us to help the school and its students during the pandemic, especially the safe return to in-person instruction in May 2020, by offering them 7,500 protective masks.

At the end of the year, we aided the Fab Lab at the Lycée Français de Zurich in purchasing a 3D printer (Ultimaker 2+), which allowed the school to make one of its flagship projects a reality this year.

Made up of older elementary school pupils, the Fab Lab teams started out by speaking to the classes of Michel Fornasier, alias Bionicman (born without right hand, Bionicman has managed to turn his disability into an advantage), on accepting differences and living together in harmony. They then set out to produce parts for hand prosthetics designed for children who were injured or born without a hand. And they did that thanks to Ultimaker 2+.

After that, they had the opportunity to present their world to the management of Crédit Agricole next bank and to Bionicman.

Since 2020, the Fab Lab has been entirely devoted to digital creation, allowing students to let their imagination run wild, surrounded by robots, programmable cards, drones and of course 3D printers!
